The drop-off at the type locality starts at 8 m, the substratum leading to this consists of coral rubble, a typical habitat for species of Cirrhilabrus . Apparently, the two small angelfishes sought by the collectors at this area are Centropyge bicolor and Paracentropyge multifaciata.
